This looks similar to what happened to me a couple years ago. The only difference being that instead of turning my front wheel sideways in a ditch the front wheel came loose and removed itself from the frame. Oh, and I wasn’t wearing my chinese hat (or a helmet).

Mike, those are some brutal photos. That sucks. I’m glad flickr and digital cameras weren’t around when I was running around as a kid, there would be some NASTY injuries up there.
Yeah, it certainly wasn’t fun at the time but the pictures are great to bring out and show people :^)
