Yellow mix

Yellow mix

Before everyone makes the pilgrimage down to Austin I thought I’d throw up another mix so those iPods and iPhones might have a little something new for the trek. Yellow was the next list in iTunes that ended up with enough songs to warrant a posting and it seems just about right with all of us heading down for some sun and fun. After listening to this mix I get images of bright summer days, dry grass and yellow track jackets. I’m not sure what that means, but any mix that somehow pulls off Nickel Creek, The Coup and Toto is a good one in my book. I hope you enjoy it, and I can’t wait to see a bunch of you down in Austin! Oh, and what songs scream yellow to you?

The yellow mix (33mb mp3)

  • Got Nothing - Under The Influence Of Giants
  • Ode To A Butterfly - Nickel Creek
  • How We Operate - Gomez
  • Collarbone - Fujiya & Miyagi
  • My Favorite Mutiny (With Black Thought And Talib Kweli) - The Coup
  • The Skin of My Yellow Country Teeth - Clap Your Hands Say Yeah
  • Africa - Toto
  • Yellow - Coldplay

@Sean Madden Ha! Totally unintentional but it is funny in a bad sort of way. Collarbone is Kevin’s official theme song.

@Jeff Croft I had a feeling you’d like that.

I’m telling you I had not planned on separating my shoulder this weekend. Winning, yes. Sitting in the ER again, no. Damn my fucked up collar bone.

About T Incorporated

T Incorporated is me, Tom Watson, online. It’s a bit of a throwback to personal websites, something I believe were, and still are, the cornerstones of the original social network: the Internet. I’ve been publishing online since 2001 but have lost much of that work to the digital dustbin. What you will find here is all that is left.
